The original Honey Badger was born from a request by an elite US special operations group looking to replace their MP5-SD’s. Requirements included the ability to shoot a rifle caliber round while maintaining low visibility and excellent signature suppression. The Honey Badger was developed in conjunction with the 300 Blackout cartridge. However the rifle never made it to the commercial market.
The Honey Badger by Q is the result of an improved version on the original design. The Honey Badger-SD features a 7″ barrel with 1:5″ twist, adjustable gas block, tapered muzzle, 70 degree safety, 2-position PDW stock and includes a dedicated Honey Badger suppressor.
Note: Due to the dye-less process of clear anodizing, imperfections may be seen on the finish. This is purely cosmetic in nature.
